People's Grocery has 400 people joining us for our Harvesting Justice fundraising brunch at UC Berkeley on Sunday 2/27.  We've had an incredible response!  To manage an event of this size, we're hoping to enlist new and returning volunteers to help us.  If you are interested, please contact jonathan@peoplesgrocery.org. 

We are looking for:

SERVERS AT THE EVENT 2/27: We're looking for about 15-17 more servers. These positions were secured through a partner organization, but they just had to back out. This shift starts at 8:00 am at the event and runs until 1:00 pm. All servers will be fed. The meal is served in one big push at the beginning and there will be light assistance in the meal and clearing/clean up.

WEDNESDAY 2/213 FOOD PREP: We're looking for two people who want to help our chef prep in his San Francisco kitchen. The full shift is from 9am to 3pm.

RUNNER ON-CALL : We'd like to have one person on call next week, most likely for some last minute errands and prep. Car needed.

CHILDCARE: We're looking for  one more assistant for our childcare provider. Important: These positions are not in the room with the event program. 9:15 am - 1:00 PM on 2/27
