People's Grocery has 400 people joining us for our Harvesting Justice fundraising brunch at UC Berkeley on Sunday 2/27.  We've had an incredible response!  To manage an event of this size, we're hoping to enlist new and returning volunteers to help us.  If you are interested, please contact jonathan@peoplesgrocery.org.

The Vespertine Circus is a collection of young, ambitious artists on a quest to spread joy and absurdity.

The troupe consists of seven main characters; a neo-burlesque troupe of dancers with backgrounds in ballet, hip-hop and everything in between; and a genre-bending and blending band. They've been putting on shows in Oakland for seven months and are gearing up to move their spectacle outdoors and into parks this spring.

Paul Mooney will be performing December 27 - January 2 at the BLACK REPERTORY THEATER. The Mooney Twins will make a special guest appearance. This is the Annual Youth Fundraiser.

The Word Assembly Community Development Corp (WACDC) proudly presents its Annual Holiday Makeover on Monday, December 20.
